How should I price my items?
Assuming your items are in great shape, we recommend pricing at about 50% of what you paid. Too close to the original price, and the savvy brides doing their shopping might as well just buy it brand new! You want to recoup your costs, but you also want your items to be as appealing as possible.
What kind of information should I include in my listings?
Everything! If you are willing to ship, mention where you are willing to ship to, and who will pay for shipping costs. Are your items in perfect condition? Say so! And if they aren’t – say so too, so there are no surprises. Let’s say you are selling your dress: Is it dry cleaned/preserved? Is any of the beadwork missing? Of course you’ll say the size of your dress and if it was altered, but also mention your street size, or even your measurements when you wore it. Including your height and the height of your heels. The more information you have in your ads, the simpler each transaction is, and the sooner you will close the sale.
Can I just list all of the things I want to sell together in one ad?
We’d only suggest doing that for things you are selling together in a lot. Having to try and decipher your listing, and what is still available, is a hassle for your potential buyers, and we encourage you to make your listings as appealing as possible.
Do I have to pay any fees when I sell an item?
No way! There are no additional costs beyond the small monthly subscription fee you pay upfront, and we never take any percentage of your sales – put that money back in your pocket!
Why do I pay a small fee each month instead of a larger, one-time fee?
We want you to have quick success with your sales, and feel that the subscription model is the best way to encourage fair pricing of your items as well as prompt deletion of listings of sold items. If your items sell and you remove your listings before your renewal date, you won’t have to continue to pay the (small) monthly fee.
How do I get paid?
When you meet with the buyer, we recommend asking that they bring the exact amount you have agreed on, in cash. (You might want to consider bringing a small amount of change – eg, if you have set a sale price of $75, bring $5 with you in case the buyer only has $20 bills.) Alternatively, you could have them do an e-transfer/PayPal payment at the point of sale.
Where should I meet my buyer?
Be smart and stay safe. If you are going to have them come to your home, consider asking another person to be home with you, or share the details of your meet-up with someone else. If you are selling something of high value, you may want to consider meeting in a public place, police station or bank.

Are there limitations to what I can list?
Please don’t list your entire inventory. Our savvy buyers already know how to find their items at full retail price, so bring us your best deals!
How many listings can I have of the same item?
Just one! Please don’t duplicate your listings, even in a different size or colour. You can highlight the various options you have within your ad.
Can I include my website in my listing?
Absolutely!
We’re really happy to work with vendors and show off your great deals, but please bear in mind the spirit in which this site exists. Abuse of our unlimited listing offer may result in your listings being deleted and your account closed, without refund.
